Terms of sale
Last updated 22 September 2026
These terms apply when you buy a course track from Emplify. Please read them before you pay. By paying you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Emplify is operated by Emplify Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17472326, of 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. You can reach us at info@emplifycareers.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Emplify, and "you" means the person buying.
2. What you are buying
Each track is a set of presentations and templates, produced by people who have themselves secured interviews and offers in that field, delivered through our online community. Tracks are sold individually. Buying one track does not give you access to any other track.
Each track also includes access to 1-1 drop-in sessions with our team, live group sessions on Zoom for interview and online assessment practice, our WhatsApp channel for job openings and tips, and an invitation to our yearly in-person event. Drop-in sessions run three times a week and live Zoom sessions once or twice a week. You can attend as many as you like. Your access to the sessions, the WhatsApp channel and your track is lifetime access, meaning it lasts for as long as Emplify runs these services. We may change session days, times or frequency, and will tell you in advance through our community. If we ever stop running them, we will give you reasonable notice.
The in-person event is held once a year, at a venue and date we announce in advance. Places are subject to capacity. Because your access is lifetime, you are invited each year for as long as we run the event, not to one event only. Getting there and anywhere to stay are not included, and are your own cost. If we have to cancel or move it, we will tell you as soon as we can. Under-18s attending will need a parent or guardian's permission.
The Emplify certificate is awarded when you complete the tasks set in your track, including sending us a tailored CV for feedback. It is a certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification.
We describe what is in each track on its page. We may improve or update the content over time. If we make a material change to a track you have bought, you keep access to what you bought.
3. Age
Our courses are written for people aged 16 to 21, and anyone can buy them.
If you are under 18, buy with a parent or guardian, and only use someone else's payment card if they have agreed. If a payment is made on a card without the cardholder's permission, tell us and we will refund it.
4. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling on each track page and on the order page, and are what you pay at checkout. Payment is a single one-off payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Where we advertise a launch price and a later price, the later price takes effect on the date stated.
5. Delivery
After your payment succeeds we email your files to the address you paid with, normally within minutes and in any case within 24 hours. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder, then email us and we will send them manually.
6. Your right to cancel, and why it usually does not apply
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online.
For digital content, that right is lost once delivery has begun, if you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right. We ask you to confirm this before you pay, and again at checkout. If you confirm it and we deliver, you no longer have the 14-day right.
If you do not want to give up that right, do not tick the box. Email us instead and we will arrange delivery after 14 days.
7. Refunds
We will refund you in full if:
- we fail to deliver your files;
- a payment was made on a card without the cardholder's permission; or
- you bought the wrong track by mistake and tell us before you have downloaded it.
Outside those situations, because this is digital content delivered immediately, we are not obliged to refund you. In practice, if you are unhappy, email us and tell us why. Refunds are paid to the original payment method and usually take 5 to 10 working days.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
8. Referral scheme
When you buy a track we give you a referral code. If three people buy a track using your code at checkout, we refund the full amount you paid for your own track, to the payment method you used, within five working days of the third purchase.
- You must be 18 or over to take part as a referrer. Anyone can buy using a code.
- The code must be entered in the referral field at checkout. We cannot add it afterwards.
- A referral counts once the payment has succeeded and has not been refunded.
- You cannot refer yourself, and purchases made by you on another email address do not count.
- The most you can receive is the amount you paid for your own track. Further referrals beyond the third earn nothing.
- If your own purchase is refunded for any reason, your code stops counting from that point.
- We may withdraw or change the scheme at any time. Rewards already earned will still be paid.
- We may refuse a reward where we reasonably believe the scheme has been abused, for example where purchases are made and refunded to inflate a count.
Please do not pressure anyone into buying. The scheme exists for people who found the course useful and want to tell someone who would too.
9. What you can and cannot do with the files
When you buy a track, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the files for your own job applications, for as long as you like.
You must not share, upload, resell, republish, or distribute the files, or use them to run your own course or coaching service. We own the copyright in everything we produce.
10. What we do not promise
Our content is general educational material intended to improve your chances of employment and of getting interviews. It draws on the experience of people who have been through these application processes and on insight into how hiring managers assess candidates.
We cannot promise that you will get an interview, an offer, or a job, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers, on grounds we do not control.
It is general material, not careers advice tailored to your circumstances, and it is not legal or financial advice.
11. Our liability
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
We supply our content for private use. We have no liability for business losses such as lost profit, lost income, or lost opportunity.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you paid. We keep the date at the top current.
13. Complaints, law and jurisdiction
If something has gone wrong, email info@emplifycareers.com and we will reply within five working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
